When bees get tired they nap in flowers

Just like humans, bees need to recharge. Some species, like bumblebees, grab power naps between pollination rounds — or even doze off mid-pollination!

These naps don’t just help them regain energy for their busy buzzing. It also boosts pollination, increasing plant reproduction and biodiversity.

But in cities, safe, green spaces for pollinators are disappearing. That’s why pocket forests are so important. They serve as a vital part of pollinator pathways, giving bees the food, shelter, and “nap pods” they need.

A well-placed pocket forest isn’t just an aesthetic addition to a city — it’s a lifeline for pollinators. And when bees thrive, so does biodiversity.
